It is only with your support that we can continue to raise much needed funds, in Henry’s memory.
There are a number of ways you can support HSF – organising your own fundraising event, or getting sponsored to do almost anything, is a fantastic way to have fun and raise money; at work, at school or university, with your friends, or with your local sports club. Whether it be baking cakes, a cream cracker eating contest, a tug o’ war or a swimathon – we want to help you make your event a huge success!
Organising a fundraising event is a lot of fun, but it is important to keep it safe, and legal! Please take the time to consider some of the practical aspects of organising a fundraising event, before you go ahead, visit Institute of Fundraising.
For an official HSF sponsor form, please email us email@example.com
If the person who sponsors you is a UK taxpayer, please encourage them to ‘tick the box’ to add Gift Aid. For every £1, we can claim an extra 25p back from the government.
You can also create your own free personalised sponsorship page via Virgin Money Giving. Friends and family can donate easily and quickly online with a credit or debit card, 24 hours a day. Plus online donations from UK taxpayers collect a 25% bonus! All money raised through Virgin Money Giving is sent directly to HSF, so all you need to do is create your page at Virgin Money Giving then share your page on Facebook and Twitter, and email your page to everyone you know; sit back and watch your total grow!
Can your employer help? Your employer may be able to match the money you raise or agree a fixed amount to boost your fundraising efforts. Not every company offers matched giving, and if they do, every company is different. Companies can see great benefits because they will help to achieve HSF’s mission, as well as reduce the amount of corporate tax they pay. Find out what your company can do to support you and HSF.
A collection tin at your school, workplace, sports club or cafe, is an excellent way to raise funds and awareness. Please email us to arrange a collection tin firstname.lastname@example.org
